Religious Worker Announcement The Religious Worker Visa now falls under the Temporary Worker category and as such now requires the applicant to provide the approved petition Form I-797, “Notice of Action/Approval” in order to apply for a Religious Worker Visa. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR NON-IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICANTS To schedule a visa appointment at the U.S. Embassy through this service, all applicants are required to provide a DS-160 confirmation number. Before proceeding, please make sure each applicant (including all family members) has completed the Nonimmigrant Electronic Visa Application Form DS-160. The DS-160 confirmation number is the alpha-numeric code located below the bar code on the printed confirmation page that appears when the application has been completed at https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/ THE APPLICATION FEE IS CHANGING The application fee that everyone has to pay before the visa appointment is changing.  For all appointments on or after June 4, 2010, the application fee depends on the type of visa you need.  You will pay the Thai baht equivalent of this dollar amount: ·       Visitors for Business or Tourism, Students, or Exchange Visitors (Category B, F, J, or M): $140 ·       Petition-Based Employment and Work Visas (Category H, L, O, P, Q, or R): $150 ·       Treaty Trader and Investor (Category E): $390 ·       Fiancee (Category K): $350 ·       All other visa categories: $140 If you already paid the previous $131 (THB 4454) application fee, bring that receipt to your appointment.  The Embassy or Consulate will collect the difference at your appointment.
